Enhance Storage with FujiFilm 256 MB xD Picture Card, Type M (600004661) Review

This is great value and lots of space. I have two and only need one! I always have space and can keep my camera on the highest settings to make sure I'm getting the best shots as I never know what I need to zoom in on, zoom in on or crop. I recommend this very great offer! Arrived very quickly, well packaged.

Works as expected right out of the box. I leave the card in the camera and upload pictures, so I can't comment on the durability of the contacts if they are removed frequently.

Great card. Warning, your camera may require a firmware update to use the new M-type XD cards. I kept having shooting errors until I updated the camera. Updating camera firmware can be a problem if you're computer illiterate like me. I finally got it working and everything is working. Also, some card readers cannot read the new M XD type cards.

No real problems - Photos take a little longer to load from the camera than I would like, but in any case a card reader might be the best way to go.

For over a year I was content with the 64MB card that came with my camera. After looking at various offers, I finally decided to upgrade to this 256MB card. I thought the price I paid was very good considering what I saw in retail stores. For some reason XD is usually the more expensive memory type. Fuji loves using the xD system and why not as they are the only ones making memory cards of this type. That's not bad in and of itself, but you can't find them in larger sizes than your regular SD cards or even microSD cards. It fits a Fuji Finepix camera that I bought for use at work and does the job. Using it in the factory allows us to transfer images from the card fairly quickly, so it doesn't fill up quickly.
