I like it, thank you for the quality product.

The "ugly duckling" X-series, which for two years was the favorite glass on the system (much more beloved than 35mm). Many are put off by its "thoughtfulness" in AF, but like the X-Pro1, you just need to get used to it and master the subtleties of handling - and you will be rewarded. Different pros: Excellent design, light, compact, metal, including lens hood. I would describe the drawing as "vigorous, energetic" - I especially liked it when shooting portraits, including shots in backlight…

Perfect purchase for me, exactly what I was looking for!

After much deliberation, I decided to purchase this lens. I am very satisfied with the purchase. Glass gives a beautiful high-quality picture, and this is the most important thing. I immediately ated the lens firmware to version 32022, so I didn’t notice any special problems with focus. Yes, not very fast, but why hurry? When shooting macro, I often use manual focus mode for greater accuracy. The lens is creative, not reportage. Worth the money and there are no alternatives to it yet. The hood…

Pros
  • Beautiful picture, nice bokeh, workmanship
Cons
  • Slow autofocus, large lens hood

The right product for me, there were no problems.

I took it for portraits. That's it. Despite the small aperture, it is already sharp from 2.4, while other faster lenses need to be pressed in order to achieve similar sharpness and depth of field. So, there is no difference: take a hole 1.8 and press it to 2.4 or immediately take a hole 2.4. I want to clarify that if "Macro" is written in the characteristics of the lens, this does not mean that it is intended specifically for macro. This only means that he knows how to shoot macro. But in the…

Pros
  • Razor sharpness, starting with an open hole. Bokeh noble, pleasant.
Cons
  • Autofocus is slow, with tracking focusing it buzzes, clicks, clicks all the time, the diaphragm is nervous . Just look, something will click and break forever. But no. With the Minoltovsky "Kid" the same thing can be observed for the third decade. First the fathers watched, then the children, and now the grandchildren. And he clicks and clicks, peppy.
