Fujinon GF23mmF4 R LM 📷 WR Lens: Clear and Versatile Photography Companion Review

Perfect in every way. It's crystal clear, incredibly good color and not overly expensive for a medium format lens. In addition, Fuji has a long history of manufacturing medium format lenses and cameras. This is an incredibly sharp wide-angle lens for the GFX 100s.

Bought this lens as my only lens when I bought the GFX 50S. I use a camera/lens for landscape and architecture photography and for that purpose the combination is excellent. The lens is bright, sharp as a nail and together with the GFX produces great images. It feels like it's well made, obviously of high quality. The autofocus is fine and works smoothly. If you need a wide angle lens for your GFX, you can't go wrong with this beauty.

This damn thing weighs as much as a small watermelon! (And unfortunately, due to the shoulder left over from the car crash, I really couldn't handle the 50R, 23mm combo. An excellent lens, if not perfect. Open it wide and you'll notice the performance hits around the edges, which are all but gone by 5.6. I give this lens 5 stars simply for its performance considering how wide it works. If you were shooting with a 2.8 focal length 35mm lens that wide, you would almost certainly have the same problems.
