I bought this as an alternative to hard wax which I've been using for about a year and it's AMAZING! I have thick hair with strong roots and this stuff was easy to warm up in a heating pad, easy to apply and almost painless to remove as far as pulling the hair out. I've only used it once so far, but I've been able to heal areas I used to fear with the hard wax. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great soft wax for thick and strong hair.
