A shave as close as a man

Three piece set for less than a haircut? I've had fuller bits for as long as I can remember. They are strong and tolerate violence well. You can't go wrong choosing these as your budget chisels.

Large Wood Chisel Chisel Set

Update: I still have this set after over ten years and still think it's great. I like this set because: 1. works well2. cheap3. Accepts a lot of abuse4. Easy maintenance. If you need chisels for a project I would buy them. They work and don't cost much. I've had mine for over a year now, I've used them a lot and expect a lot more from them.

Best value hand tools

I'm a remodeling carpenter and do a lot of framing work so these are the chisels I use the most. They're great at this, quite sharp and despite some pretty bad abuse they hold a good edge. If you're looking for fine carpenter's chisels or carpenter's chisels I highly recommend spending a little more money as they won't be good enough for the job, especially on hardwoods.
