Bought for Christmas decorations but the device doesn't remember what mode it was in when unplugged. Also, by default, everything flashes and everything turns off. I use WiFi enabled ports to control when my lights come on and want my lights to stay on at all times without blinking. Therefore, flashlights need to remember what mode they are in between power-on cycles.

As mentioned there is no memory so if you use them with a timer they will forget the setting and they will revert to the blink cycle each time. They are bright and have a long enough cord for outdoor use. It's just frustrating that they have to reset every day when they have a timer. It would be much better if the default was always just checked and not one of the flashy options!

Excellent lights and look great on our Christmas tree. The only reason I gave it 4/5 stars is because the light defaults to lighting scheme #1 after you turn it off then back on. It wouldn't be so bad if #1 was just solid, but it's a blinking light and not what I wanted on my tree so I have to push a button every time I turn on the light on my tree.

Settings for light strands are not remembered/saved when using the timer so when the timer is turned back on the light will start cycling through all the settings as in demo mode. I have multiple strings plugged into different outlets so the light cycles are different for each string. It's very frustrating and very hard to watch... I think I'll try leaving the lights on 24/7 for a month or come back and find another solution.
