So pleased with our new purchase I bought this for my husband who is addicted to microwave bags. Knowing that microwave bags cause cancer, I wanted to get myself a suitable machine. It's fun and fills our home with the wonderful smell of popcorn and is easy to use and assemble. It takes up a little counter space, but it's fun and I recommend it as a great choice for anyone who loves popcorn. I bought coconut oil and flavacol which adds to the real cinematic experience. I bought this for our team at work and it gets a LOT of use. After a while, the handle for unlocking and unloading popcorn broke. The machine could still be used, but it was necessary to insulate the handle with something from your hand so as not to burn yourself. We 3D printed a new one and it stayed. Also, the machine works as advertised but be careful with the amount of popcorn it makes as I was expecting more. One batch serves about two people, so consider a larger option if you're using it

OK Bought this thing three days ago. It's smaller than you might expect, but just right if you don't want it dominating your kitchen. Be careful when unpacking as the parts (pin and small screw/rod) may have fallen to the bottom of the box and you will not be able to use the device without this part. For popcorn bags, I use Great Northern Popcorn's 4-ounce bags, which contain butter, salt, and grains. I also bought a box of Flavacol which is a really good fine grain salt with butter and a bite.
