Upon unpacking, the construction of the Funtime Tabletop Popcorn Popper was of poor quality. The first batch of popcorn was made on a Great Northern 4 ounce coffee maker. portion packaging. If you like raw, hard popcorn with 20% unopened kernels, then this machine is for you. Following the Great Northern package directions carefully, 3 attempts resulted in consistently inedible popcorn. A final attempt was made using fresh original Orville Redenbacher popcorn and popcorn oil and salt in the same proportions as pre-packaged. Same inedible results! Not only was the popcorn raw, it wasn't hot either! In addition, a small machine is difficult to fill, tilt and empty. The machine should only be used as a decorative element or perhaps as a doorstop.
