My 85 pound Labrador mix is about as comfortable as a jumbo size can be. I was pleasantly surprised at how big this bed actually is - bigger than the XL beds I've seen elsewhere. She can extend it. She is an old dog and seems to find this bed very easy for her old bones. I don't know yet what the longevity will be, but I've bought more expensive beds that didn't last long. So if I get a year less of it, I'm happy.

I have a hard time finding product reviews from Great Dane owners. Owning a giant dog is very different from owning a regular sized dog as everything is significantly more expensive and harder to find. This bed is big enough for my huge dog, comfortable enough for her picky tastes and half the price of similar beds. I have actually shared this bed with other pet owners on my Facebook page and would highly recommend it to anyone with a huge dog.

It really is what you pay for. I bought a large gray based on sleep measurements measuring 27×22. I compared it to our favorite 62 lb dog bed and pointer and the measurements are wrong. It's more like a 24 x 19.5 sleeping area. The material is nice and soft, but very thin, I've even seen it tear on delicate fabrics. The memory foam doesn't feel supportive, it's too soft and sinks to the floor. This is a good bed for a month if it fills the bill, but not over the long term due to the durability,

I bought two of these beds, one in a soft "Deep Pool" style and the other in a red quilted style. Surprisingly, they are very different. The blue is heavy and durable and feels very comfortable. Red feels very fragile and unsupportive. My dogs notice this too - both prefer blue. Blue is awesome - dogs love it, cats love it, kids love it, it's a win-win.
