Table legs are plastic so no more than 11 pounds on each tier. I had to unhook the cable box and turn it sideways to put it on the shelf and then hook it back in. The perfect size for a cable box on one shelf and a router on another. Just don't put anything heavy on it. If you use it as intended, that's a lot. I didn't need a heavy desk for just three small electronic devices. It's perfect and looks great when everyone is together.

Paid about $10 extra for an espresso color. The picture shows a very nice dark brown coffee colored wood with what appears to be chocolate legs/supports. What we got was gray legs or props. If they had known what would happen in the end, they would have taken it cheaper again. I used to buy all black on a black original for $18 - everything was perfect.
