Worked great for me!

They have worked very well in my house. I ordered a pack for each of my four sofas. Since using them I have not once seen my cats try to scratch/walk past them and three animals have just used their scratching posts again. I was worried they wouldn't look good but to be honest it looks good and isn't very noticeable when you're not looking. It's worth protecting the thousands we've spent on furniture!

Fantastic product best in scratching posts

Finally a product that keeps my cat from scratching upholstered furniture. I tried the wide tape you can buy but it ends up looking terrible. This product works and you can easily put it on and take it off. The plastic is thick but still bends easily, and there are small holes for threading the pins. Of course you can see it on your furniture, but I'd rather see it than a bunch of snags and damage to my upholstery.

Excellent Almost perfect.

TLDR: good for learning. Remember that your sofa has four sides. You only get two defenders. Obviously, it is almost impossible to stop a cat from doing what it naturally wants/should do. Our cat basically just scratched the corner of our couch for some reason, despite all the other scratching posts we gave him. Has stopped my two cats from using my couches as scratching posts!

We have two cats who both like to use our sofas as giant scratching posts. We tried everything to stop them (water sprays, duct tape, distraction toys, etc.) but our sofas looked pretty bad. Worked on leather sofa

Just received a new leather sofa to replace a soft sofa whose ends were damaged by scratches. The seating areas of this leather sofa extend from the armrests at the front to the edge of the corner so that when fully reclined they part the corner when lifted. (Photos attached.)
