Happier Camper! - my new review

My wife got me the 5 inch monitor and backup cam for Christmas. We added the side marker cams to our 38 ft trailer. These cameras were easy to install and set up. Added a lot of visibilty making lane changes on the highway. I don't have to worry as much about backing up too far and hitting something. The wide views are awesome. The only time there is any issue is when trying to look at the screen while the sun is coming through the windshield, but that is not a product issue. I highly recommend

  • every time I turn it one I have to tell it to invert the image. image quality is so so.

  • The cameras may not provide a clear view of approaching vehicles or obstacles

Can't see side of trailer

Real easy to install if you already have the Furrion side light frames installed as I do on my Grand Design. I managed to get one camera to "just barely" see the side of the trailer. Unfortunately its the driver side, not the passenger side which I really wanted as it is the blind side when backing as soon as the trailer turns. As for the side where I can see the side, it is barely visible and as a result - disorienting until you figure out what the side of the trailer is. As for the other…

Great System, Unless You have a Newer Truck

Newer vehicles, 2020 and later, have a power modulator that does not provide enough power to run the cameras. Getting the adapter from Furrion is difficult. They aren't available on other websites of by dealers. Do not buy alternatives, they don't work. If your truck is older, by all means, this is a great system and fairly easy to install.

Needs to be better at this price point.

Easy to install and connect. One thing though is certain newer model Cheves will need the adapter on the 7way. Ask Furrion. Picture Quality on anything smaller than the 7 inch for multiple cameras is lacking. Even at 7inch it's Better than Nothing just not matching the price for this system.

Great side Cameras on my review.

this is a very good product, although when I purchase a new gmc truck I need to add a power filter because the change GMC or Chevey made to the 7 way power. I use this product as intended, but if you want to use this without lights on tow vehicle you would need a constant power, I also Have the backup camera and that is where i put the power fiter wire (VGR64VR from Etrailer) you only need one and it is only required for the 2022 and 2023 chevy trucks

It really works and it’s worth us money

Great View all around you can see things coming left and right towards the RV. It’s a must to have when you’re driving on the big interstate highways.

Bad camera angle: my feedback

Dont waste your money, cameras aren't very clear, the angle of the camera is terrible, I can't even see the side of my trailer on the sides. I'd return them if I didnt drill the extra holes in place of the existing lights.
