Just what we needed

My husband is preparing for surgery and has problems with leg swelling. He bought several pairs of compression stockings, but the tightness makes his toes cramp and hurt. They're ideal because they don't cover the toe box, and while they fit snugly around the legs, they're not so tight as to be uncomfortable. Really good buy for what it needs.

  • Great price

Very handy support.

I suffered from swollen lower legs for a while and avoided support stockings because I didn't look manly. Nonsense! After some persuasion, I tried them out and found their support the most compelling. Needing more, I bought a pair of these Futuro stockings and found them to be the most comfortable stockings I had - I even forgot I was wearing them. I will be buying at least one more soon. highlighted.

I love compression stockings!

I love compression stockings - I've had them since I was 20. I have tons of different types and brands. I also run 5km in compression stockings. Including two socks. I wear them at night because they are open toes and help with a restless leg. The top strap in this set is quite tight so I stretch it all day and put on something bigger. The tops gradually expand. These socks are good value for money and belong to the medical category.

Disappointing best in braces, splints and supports

I have Futuro compression stockings from about 10 years ago and was really hoping to get one for my daughter. I ordered this one and was very disappointed. The material is much thinner despite being listed as the same thickness. Also, it looks like it will have runs and support like regular stockings. My age is very different. The size wasn't right either. As well as following the instructions on the packaging I checked their website to make sure I ordered the recommended size. My daughter…

I love Futuro, but not this unisex version

I love Futuro 15-20 Moderate compression stockings for women up to the knee. However, I live in a hot and humid area and would love to wear sandals, so I ordered these peep toe socks. This is true size for men. Specially designed for men who have a small foot of men's socks. So, a 7-8 foot woman has an open foot that covers my toes. They are too long. In tight compression stockings, this means I cut creases in my ankles and the top of the stockings in the back of my knees - not comfortable and…

So I wanted them to work.

I've been wearing Jobst's opaque knee-highs for many years, but as I've gotten older, my toes have become more and more pinched. I wear a size Large Petite. I have 15 inches between the floor and my squat and 18 inches around my calf. I bought them a size up to try the peep toe shoes - the great price compared to Jobst made me want to try them! I like the open toe. The stocking is similar to the Jobst embossed stocking, thicker and more matte than the glossy opaque stocking. This stocking was…

Great hold, great comfort.

I have been wearing these tight compression stockings for almost 20 years. Don't usually leave the house without them. The only time I would consider NOT wearing them is when the dew point is above 65 as I have found that the high humidity causes my legs to swell to the point where the stockings become very uncomfortable. Although with this dew point I usually feel like stripping my normal clothes once I get home. I often just slip them on and off during the day (I carry a pair of socks with me

Works very well on braces, splints and bandages

I love the FUTURO open toe/open heel knee socks. Thought I'd try this pair because I really need a closed heel. The main point where my feet swell is near the open heel, so my feet swell where the heel is open. I wear a large in Futuro with an open heel, so I bought a large in this pair with a closed heel. They were thinner and more difficult to put on, but you want tight socks or they won't work. I would rate them as 20-30 compression. L long, above the knee. I fold the top by about 2-3 cm…
