The item arrived quickly. BUT Description &

Item arrived quickly. BUT the description and approved amazon vehicles said it would fit my 1999 chevrolet s19 2.2 when in fact the truck has an internal valve NOT the same as the one they sold me.

Not as shown PVC valves, breathers and accessories

Purchased for Saturn SK. The picture shows the angle adapter required for the Saturn. The FV295 I received is straight so it doesn't really fit. I paid about 1.32 for the valve - I figured there would be more problems with returns. Be careful when getting one for your SC.

PCV valve works but no elbow

I bought this PCV valve for a 2002 Saturn SC2. The only complaint I have is that it should have come with a plastic PCV elbow. The old one was glued onto the old PCV valve so it couldn't be reused unless I broke it. Elbow wasn't that expensive at Autozone, but most came in combo packs.

  • Handy item

Took 30 seconds to install and now my car drives much better (jerky

Bought for my 2002 Saturn SL1. to the point it was eating oil and the MPG wasn't as high as what it was I thought ) Just disconnect the hose, pull out the old PCV with pliers, insert the new one and reattach the hose. I don't have another PCV to compare but this one is perfect for my needs and I would happily buy it again.

Pros
  • Useful for more than its intended purpose
Cons
  • Upgradeable

1998 GMC Sonoma 4 cyl.

Remember that the GMC Sonoma 4 cylinder engine has several valve cover options. The FRAM FV295 has been identified as a perfect match for this car, however the 4 cylinder 'smooth valve cover' engine has an integrated PCV which cannot be replaced separately from the valve cover. Terrible technique. Summary of wisdom here; First, make sure your PCV valve is interchangeable and check carefully before ordering. And yes, it is also true that this PCV does NOT look like the picture. The FV295 is a…
