Good protection and fit

My size was on the border between medium and large so I chose a medium size for fear of stretching. Velcro holds well and is comfortable. They even fit under saggy indoor skate park jeans.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance

Great knee pads! fits skates, skateboards and scooters

I used to have G-shape heavy duty knee pads which I really liked but wanted to try them as I like the idea of being able to wear knee pads in mine shoes. So far I'm liking these new knee pads - I keep them in my backpack when I go up and put them on top before going down solo tracks. They are easy to put on and comfortable. Highly recommended!

Pros
  • Heavy duty finish

Sizing is accurate, best for skates, skateboards and scooters

I am 6ft 175lbs. My thigh is 18", calf is 14" and the shorts fit me perfectly. Velcro quality. The whole design is very successful. They are comfortable, allow full freedom of movement and stay in place very well. Not bulky at all but my knees feel very protected. I got them for e-approval. They look great with shorts, but I can also wear pants over them. Very happy with the purchase.

Pros
  • Nicely packaged
Cons
  • Interchangeable

Great protection but try on size before buying.

I like the idea of these pads. Ability to wear over pants because they are not worn. The downside is that the fit on my calf is very tight and digs into my shin and the fit on my thigh is looser so I can't go taller. Also, as the zipper closes, it can easily begin to open itself, although it hasn't done so yet. The zipper is also not easy, velcro is better. Another benefit/disadvantage is that the velcro is very strong, so much so that when used, the velcro strips some of the material from…

Heavy and tough Best in Protection Gear

I'm a big fan of the G-Form X knee pads and was dying to try them, especially because of the open space behind the knee and the side zip for easy on and off Undress and extra protection. However, when I actually tried them, they were quite thick and provided excellent protection for the knee from heavy use, but at the expense of a really heavy and uncomfortably stiff material. I can't imagine pedaling with them on long trips (20-30 miles). In my opinion they should be marketed as downhill pads…

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Poorly designed

Exactly what I needed to ride the MTB

Sized right and they fit very well. They actually air damn well and aren't as hot as others I've tried. Very high quality, I hope they last a long time. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to save their knees. Update: I actually managed to test them yesterday. I had an accident. It flew over the steering wheel and went down the embankment. My left knee hit the gravel. The lining is slightly scratched. But I didn't even know my knee was injured until I got back to the truck and they…

Very protective and thin

Key points: -smaller than you think (in a good way) -comfortable but needs some attention (zip closure) -warm but cool compared to others with similar protection -easy on - undressing but needs some attention (zipper) - pads cannot be removed for cleaning - top and bottom of pads stay in place and don't interfere with descent at all. Based on the photos and the above average hip measurements, I assumed these pads must have been huge. For this degree of protection, they are quite compact even…
