Kingston, Corsair, you have another competitor

Best product, I am very satisfied with this G.SKILL brand, they are better for overclocking than other brands, faster. I'm not saying other brands are bad, now G.SKILL is my favorite. Please enable XMP without doing this to make the motherboard only recognize 2133MHz instead of 3000MHz to reach the maximum speed. Some people may think this is a defect and leave bad reviews about the RAM. I have an ASUS Z170 AURA, the list of qualified suppliers does not indicate that these RAMs are compatible…

Fast and reliable storage.

It has good latency, speed and easy overclocking. The price is great compared to other alternatives if you don't need flashy RGB lighting. I haven't checked the data yet, but everything seems stable so far. I've been using Ripjaws for the last 5 builds with no issues.

16GB of RAM that works fine with my Ryzen 2700x

I can't comment much on this as I'm not a RAM expert. They work fine on my Ryzen 2700x. I had to make a small tweak in the bios to get the sticks running at the correct speed, but there was a button that automatically set that for me. I like that these flash drives have an outer coating as they are easier to work with when inserted into dim slots compared to the old DDR3 sticks I had which were just circuit boards.

Reliable and Stable Memory

Works great right out of the box and looks great on my new MSI X470 Gaming Plus motherboard. It was easy to calibrate the clock speed in the MSI BIOS with their XMP profile (I assume they probably worked with G.Skill to set it up properly). So far my system is rock solid and G.Skill Ripjaws is partly to blame. I chose the same brand for my last PC upgrade because I had them in my previous install too and never had any problems.

Cons
  • No Instructions
