Nice but bad memory

They worked about 12 hours in the beginning. They are not flush at the bottom, some pins are shorter than others. It's not normal and I can only imagine why they didn't help me. PROS // They look good and you can turn off the RGB type. The size is accurate. XMP works fine. RGB is hit or miss, even G.Skills controls don't work reliably. Dead in 24 hours. Started corrupting data. // Ignore all that, the build quality is the worst I've seen from G.Skill. Not sure if it's just a rebrand from…

Doesn't work on 3600, this RAM is a performance bottleneck

They are marked as 3600 but my new ASUS TUF x570 motherboard BIOS doesn't accept them as 3600. No matter what I do it doesn't work on 3600 .Close, but again without a cigar G.Skill. However, they get +1 for looking good. EDIT: I've updated the BIOS, swapped the A1/A2 and B1/B2 slots, and even tried setting it up manually in the Advanced tab in the BIOS. It just won't accept 3600. 3466 works for me, but that's not acceptable. The default clock on them is tested to 3602 so it should work without…

The hottest memory I've ever seen

I love that my Asus ROG Armor software can change the lighting effects on this memory. I thought the light was always static, but the motherboard software allows me to control the color aspects. The memory was a bit expensive, but I've been using GSkill for a long time and never had any memory issues. A year later: still no problems with this memory. I was unaware for most of the year that it was not running at the advertised 1800MHz (3600MHz) but at 1066MHz (2133MHz). After searching I had to…
