💡 G.Skill Trident Z RGB Series 32GB DDR4 3000 CL16-18-18-38 Dual Channel Memory Review

I bought these memory sticks thinking they would go with Ryzen. But it turned out that they are not very suitable. They can be installed and work, but at 2133MHz. The same company has fairings specific to AMD Ryzen called G.SKILL Trident Z Neo. And I gave these boards to my son for an Intel motherboard.

They added a whole new element to the look of my build and I will probably buy them again for my second build. Not only are they pretty, but they work like a charm on anything you throw at them! 1TB 860 Evo, 4 Corsair RGB fans

I've been messing around with this RAM for 3 days now. RGB functionality still not working after: multiple reinstalls of G.Skill Software and Aura Sync individually; multiple BIOS updates to different versions to test functionality (relevant now); clean install of Windows 10; tried to help me, but so far without success. I would not recommend this product as the RGB functionality is terrible. The AURA sync software you need to download won't work for most people. Basically, if you want to change the color on your RAM, this program won't let you. It's against the rules for me that even if you don't mind all this, the factory Rainbow settings on these sticks don't even sync properly with each other. I received a new Dell XPS 8930 Special Edition PC today and bought this memory based on good reviews. They're faster and cheaper ($140 vs. $300) than buying from Dell, plus there's cool RGB. However, the DIMM slots on the Dell motherboard are so narrow that these thick sticks won't fit.
