I have previously reported that I have purchased 10 of these HDs in the last 12 months. They have been highly recommended by industry and video professionals. At first they were amazing. I loved everything about them. That motivated me to buy so many. HOWEVER, those G-Drives began to fail. At first I thought it had to happen. They are mechanical and things fail. I think if you exceed 5TB for an external drive the software requirements are quite different.
