G2 Axle Gear 8920341 Spline Review

The hubs lock and unlock very smoothly. I don't like the special screws that attach the outer cover and dial to the inner hub.

Probably the best high performance jacks for the price. No complaints. Work just as well, if not better than alert rewards. They are still easy to turn compared to Warns.

I solved a friend's AWD problem by removing the frozen originals and replacing them. Smooth operation and looks like it will last a long time. Hubcaps now look weird because they are much smaller in depth.

So far so good. I haven't tested them yet because I'm still building the jeep. But they fit well and feel better than the warning locks I had. Bridge Dana 60 Ford. They have a low profile which is great for the new rims I run. I hope I don't smash them into rocks and obstacles like I did with the Warn lockouts. They feel sturdy and when I snap them in I can feel a positive bite on the axle shaft.

I installed them on a 2000 Ford Excursion to replace the factory locks. I think the whole process took about 20 minutes from start to finish. These bushings rotate easily and give a nice "click" when fully rotated. It only takes a quarter turn to lock/unlock these hubs. These hubs are much shorter than the factory hubs and I ended up removing the factory center caps because the big hole in the center cap didn't look right. An excellent manual locking hub all round!

I wish they had more interaction photos of this product before I bought it. (e.g. with cap removed) I may or may not have chosen a different set of hubs. They appear to be fine, but it looks like they could get stronger in a few areas. On the other hand, they look good and close and unlock smoothly. have a nice "click" when toggled on or off on the dial, are said to be made from stronger materials than the Warn (ductile iron versus a metal pot and polished aluminum) and have a simpler design…
