Microwave Light on Small Appliance Parts and Accessories

We needed to replace the light on the underside of our microwave over the stovetop. This is a light that needs to be bright so you can see what's cooking on the stove. These lights aren't bright enough. I understand that a microwave can only have a certain wattage for that bulb, and that bulb meets that requirement. It just doesn't give us enough light. Ok actually it's my fault for not reading the full product description but I based my purchase on the headline text 'WB25X10019 Microwave Bulbs 20W Replacement Halogen Bulb for GE Microwave Oven. On the plus side, they fit, are bright, and use a lot less energy than halogen bulbs. On a high setting they are definitely brighter and whiter than the stock halogen bulbs. Excellent clear energy saving white light

I have a GE Over Range Microwave, model JNM7196SF1SS and the bulbs underneath have burned out. One burned down who knows when, but another burned down late last week. I tested it and thought it was a conventional lightbulb (screwed on) but it was an odd two-prong style. I of course went to Amazon, a site where you can buy anything.
