Using this product, our team found that it was not worth the hefty price tag. The only benefit was that it fit our Hitachi power tool. However, the overall quality was subpar and it broke after just a few uses. Save your money and look for a better option.

Fairly thin material in inner collet. I have to question durability with repeated tightening and loosening. Time will tell say otherwise it works as it should.

I used it to hold a 3" drill bit with a 1/2" shank. Worked great! No one would officially admit it fits my Craftsman, but it does. I figured that anyone looking for a 1/2" collet that is not currently available for the Craftsman 320.37595 router/table combo should know. This one works!
