I live in Texas but I love to run. Unfortunately, my hair is so thin and my skin so pale that I haven't done anything to protect my scalp and face (because I'm sweating from sunscreen). This is the only hat I can wear and train with. It's very light, the long beak gives a lot of shade and I don't get as hot as other hats. I wear a bulky hat and am concerned about the UV protection on my face, especially as I sweat quite easily from sunscreens, even sports formulas. As an experienced endurance runner I can say that this hat is uncomfortable for this sport. The panels are divided into three parts so that they can be folded after use. In my years of running I have yet to meet a single runner who was interested in folding up their sweaty running cap after use. This is a good hat. I was a little disappointed when I received it because the brim was completely flat and the 'regular' strap at the back meant the average fit of the hat was too big for me e.g. B. too big in inches :/. I used my hand and made the edge crease a bit more normal like I'm used to and now it's perfectly matched to this shape.
