What a bargain! A box of 8 pens in all the colors of the rainbow for the price of ONE at BevMo. And they WORK! Not only can we write on wine glasses, but also on leftover lids! No more guessing when said overs end up in cold storage and wondering what it was.

Not only do they eliminate confusion about whose glass, they also serve as name tags, allowing guests to identify the names of acquaintances whose names may not be immediately known. remembered (a must for those of us who are bad at remembering names!). And they are easy to wash by hand or in the dishwasher. Great idea, I will order more, for myself and as a gift for the hostess.

My husband is notorious for throwing his glass away...looks around the room...finds the next full glass...and goes with it! And that's not all! He puts his thumbs up and leaves ugly fingerprints on the rim of every glass he confiscates. Grrroooosssss! I write funny phrases under the stem of the glass to keep it from fogging up and rubbing his fingers on it. Guess what?!? It works! He finds his own glass and drinks from it all night! ... and they also say that you can't teach old dogs anything…

We no longer use plastic containers to store leftovers. Instead, we use Pyrex bowls with rubber lids, cans, or similar glass containers. We knew these markers would work on glass but were unsure if they could be used on Pyrex rubber lids without leaving marks on the lids. It turns out that the marker washes off completely either in the sink or in the dishwasher. And the colors provided are high contrast and easy to read when writing on dark blue envelopes.

I bought these to use for glasses at a party. We haven't had a glasses party yet, so I can't comment on that. And that's important, because if they come loose with condensation, they may no longer be good for what I originally bought them for. The time will show. I've used them to write on mirrors and windows and they've been amazing for that. I wash them off with water. They were at a great price. The only thing I would change is a flat/serrated tip instead of a round one.

Maybe one day I'll actually use these markers for their intended purpose - marking wine glasses. I am currently using these markers to mark the Bormioli Rocco Fido jars in which I store sundried tomatoes, peppers and herbs from my garden. I've found that paper labels often peel off cans or look messy.
