My son's favorite toy - great for developing fine motor skills

I can't believe how much my child loved this toy. He was 9 months old when I gave him this. Now he is almost a year old. This is by far his favorite toy which has kept him entertained for hours. I spend more time looking for pens than I would like, but it's worth it. Whether he's pressing down to pull out the pins or using his claw to pull them out, he's having fun. And now he can put the pins back into the holes himself. He also likes tossing or carrying herrings around, and they gnaw on them…

But I wasn't satisfied with the quality of the pop-up (paintwork wasn't.

I originally bought another type of pop-up that was in the shape of a fire truck. But I went with it not happy with the quality of the pop ups (paintwork wasn't very good and the wood wasn't smooth) and ended up sending it back I decided to try this one I'm glad I did The quality of the toy is a lot better than the one i originally bought and i found that it was made by a different company so when you decide which pop up toy to buy, go for that, that's a much better quality.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Negative impression

A fun, non-lethal toy for your little ones.

Bought for our 1 year old. The quality is ok, the child likes it. Regarding the "danger" mentioned in other reviews; I tested on my face to bounce them as hard as possible and they don't hurt. Can someone jump up and nail your little one in the eye? Sure, but it's about as dangerous as any toy at that age, kids run around mumbling, crazy, that's all. Now I'm pretty sure it was made in China. That's what it says on the box, but the Galt logo is on the toy itself. Actually, that's why I was going

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel

Perfect for 13 month old

13 month old loves this toy and is learning how to use the pens quickly. small pegs and color matching. They are the perfect size for his small hands. He still says them, so we urge him not to. I don't think they're small enough to actually choke him, but he sticks them in far enough to close his mouth. The little pens are small enough that we don't leave them with him in his play area, but put them on a bench for him to play with while we're tending to him. Since he talks less, we'll leave…

Pros
  • Hands free
Cons
  • Very expensive
