Connector for the brakes. This is an annoyance that needs fixing. What makes it move so slowly escapes me, but it's frustrating. Evidently, updating the firmware does not help. However, it does not twitch constantly. I don't think it's that important in most cases.
Having trouble keeping up with the PS Network servers. It takes a while for the store to load an example. Also, in most cases, not a deal breaker.
- 6 February Update: I'm referring about PlayStation Plus, which has no actual drawbacks because some people simply don't use it. For the uninitiated, this is a subscription that allows for online play, provides additional savings on some titles, and grants access to download two to three new games each month at no additional cost. The first season of Hitman and For Honor, for instance, are both available in February. Consequently, a combined subscription like XBox Game Pass + Live Gold (these are two separate subscriptions, if anything), which grants access to a large library of games for the duration of the subscription and enables online play, but with varying degrees of access for varying monthly fees. There are just two or three games here, and they're not always great. In January, there was a beverage called Steep, which only 1 in 10 people actually enjoyed. In the same vein, there is no ideal XBox subscription. The guys at the store insist that while Xbox Live Gold is required for online play, Game Pass is not, and that you can safely discard (not install) the free games that are provided every month. There is no such thing as the ideal subscription. Even if PS Now gets here. Since online PC gaming is not illegal, this could be a reference to a service like Origin Access Premier. However, we all know that PC users aren't eligible to play exclusives, and some players may simply not care to use that platform. It's hardly surprising that the PS4's monthly lineup of online and free games is usually quite solid, but you shouldn't be too disappointed if the titles themselves are only so-so.
- Incompatibility with previous technology. A few PS3 games sound like fun to me.
