Husband loves the tool box - it's simple and just the right size to keep his most-used items close at hand. The biggest complaint is that the top compartments keep opening, spilling screws, nails and whatnot. Otherwise it would have gotten five stars. Update: A year ago it was repurposed into a tool box for kids to play with, great for that. We don't put anything on top.

This is a pretty flimsy "toolbox". It might work for light art and the like, but it's not really suited for anything heavy. Thin plastic construction and a fairly effective latch. When I bought this I was trying to replicate a Rubbermaid tool box I bought a few years ago that I really like. This toolbox is not even in the same solar system. I highly recommend it for storing light items like sewing supplies and art supplies.

I bought this to keep my main tool box clutter free so it was great for my purpose. Less expensive than many of the smaller storage containers I've found. The box itself is quite small, so I wasn't expecting to be able to store many tools or larger items in it. The transparent top compartments for screws and nails need to be locked securely, otherwise everything will fall out when you open the lid, they are not very strong. In general I am satisfied with the purchase for this money.

I'm a handy girl. I have tools that are older than me, some from my fathers, some from my grandfather, but they all live in a garage or basement. Bought two of these to make little tool boxes for my girls. The price was great and the quality is very good. Can't speak to the bad reviews from some with small units who can't take it but aren't sure what they're doing or how hard they're using it. This is a cheap little toolbox that works really great. This is just a worthy collection of everything for the homeowner. It is not intended for professionals and is not designed for really heavy tools. Small? Well, read the description!
