I bought these three packs of what I called a twisted snake when I was a kid after my 3 year old daughter accidentally broke my original. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to find a replacement so I was glad to see this multipack. The toy works just like my original but maybe a little less durable and maybe 25% smaller. This toy was given as a gift to people aged 3 to 40 and everyone loved it. Quality is good, pieces snap together and stay in place without slipping. We made animals, spirals, spheres, flowers, numbers, rectangles and many other free shapes. Little kids happily asked for shapes while adults had fun figuring out how to make each request. An important note: they are smaller than regular ones, so they are not as easy for children to handle, but they have the same number of triangles as regular ones

This product is amazing! One of my son's scout boys had one on a camping trip and my son fell in love with it. This is incredibly stimulating and forces him to use his imagination and creative thinking to figure out how to create different shapes and configurations. I had one when I was little (normal size, not that big) and I really liked it! We bought a number of miniature versions of these snake dice to use as stocking fillers as well as these 3 packs for ourselves. The quality of the miniatures isn't very good, the plastic is rough around the edges, and the twisting of the snake didn't seem to take long before it broke. Big snakes were the opposite. This is a really great jigsaw puzzle idea that allows kids to manipulate something physical and sit still to calm down a bit. I was impressed with how well they held up when my 2 year old picked them up. We had a latch and I watched a video on how to fix it.
