Great weight, although it takes some practice compared to a regular flat-head hammer. I've been using it for a month now and it's perfect for my needs as a budding leatherworker.

An unexpected result for about a third of the cost of a name brand nylon hammer. Actually the quality of this little hammer is very good, I was impressed. If necessary, you can disassemble this hammer and replace the nylon head. I bought this for leather work, it works just as well as other nylon hammers I have. I will order a few more and change the head, ie. replace with leather, add a larger nylon head.

I ordered this hammer as I was interested in leathercraft and didn't want to spend too much if I didn't like it. It was 2016 and now I use this hammer every day. The head is just showing the wear and tear of the last four years. The weight and weight are great for stamping and processing, the round head is useful for gluing and hemming, and the head is interchangeable.
