Crooked Nightmare on my review.

I did everything right. Holes didn't line up right. I left all screws semi-loose to adjust and one leg is vastly crooked and the thing looks horrible even from afar. Nothing I did, or can do will fix this. It was also a nightmare to put together because of the shoddy manufacturing. Really a shame because this is a great height. Was going to dust it with matte black to get rid of the shine.

Pros
  • Sturdy, doesn't fall over with the weight of the plant
Cons
  • It may require difficult cleaning and maintenance to keep clean

Looks Great, a little challenging to put together

The product arrived in good condition and looks just like the picture. It is an apposing height, which is what I was looking for - something dramatic. I would have given 5 stars but it was a bear to put together, not rocket science but I'm not sure a 5th grader could do it either! One note, when sliding on the gaskets to cover the seams of the poles, insert a little dish soap to lubricate. It makes it much easier.

Pros
  • Nothing to dislike!
Cons
  • The obelisk may not be sturdy enough to withstand harsh winds or weather patterns

This Obelisk is GIANT, just what I was looking for!

I've had this garden obelisk for about 3 and a half years now. It did start to rust a bit around the connections and lose its dark black finish after a couple of years. So I did repaint it last year with some glossy black spray paint. So it looks new again now. I paid $49.83 when I purchased this. It has been worth every penny! It gives a nice height and some class to my garden! I highly recommend it!

Pros
  • Heavy, as described.
Cons
  • The design may be considered too modern or sleek for traditional garden styles

Cool, but here's a couple of tips.

OK, so I almost didn't buy this because of the scary reviews about assembly. Here's a way to find out if you can assemble this. Question 1: Have you ever screwed in a screw? If you answered yes, then you can put this together. Just take your time and be sure you have the metal rods facing the right way. Now, here's another tip. Put it together and stand it up on a piece of cardboard. Draw a circle around each leg bottom on the cardboard. Now use that cardboard as a template for making the holes

Pros
  • Perfect & so much better than others I have had in the past
Cons
  • The obelisk may draw attention away from other garden features

Very Nice Product in my review

Nice! Very well made, sturdy and thoughtfully designed. I expect it to last many harsh New England winters. The manufacturers suggest pounding a stake (provided with the obelisk) into the ground to establish the holes - obviously these people never heard of roots and rocks. I dug an 18" hole and used their stake for depth measurement. Very amusing product direction. My clematis will look lovely when it grows up.

Pros
  • It provides a beautiful backdrop for outdoor events, such as weddings, parties, and family gatherings
Cons
  • The obelisk may be considered too trendy or fashionable and become outdated over time

Read Aug 27 review in my review

I needed something larger and read all reviews before buying this item. It came from Revain shipped in a bathtub size box with my new apple keyboard banging around. No packing. That is Revain I am not happy with. Order separately.About the frame. It is pretty. It will serve my purpose. Instructions are ok, you can assemble without really reading them and I suggest reading other reviews for ideas rather than the ones included. I first put on the 'wrong' leg (only 1) before I saw it didn't make…

Pros
  • It provides a focal point in the garden, drawing attention to the beauty of the surrounding plants and flowers
Cons
  • The obelisk is not collapsible, making it difficult to store during off-seasons

Sturdy product with careful installation

Important that stakes are level in the installation. Helps to use a level and two people to hold the lower unit tiers in place while adjusting, then add the top tiers. Very sturdy for the 8-12' morning glory vine exposed to elements held up fine all summer. I ordered the 84" size but had the information been in the product description that the stakes need to be at least 12" deep in the ground I would have ordered the 96 resulting in the vine being more overgrown at the top.

Pros
  • It can be used as a trellis for vines, providing shade and privacy in the garden
Cons
  • The obelisk may require regular painting or touch-ups to maintain its appearance

Easy to assemble Trellis

I didn’t like the plastic cone on the top the first time I saw it. I ended up putting a blue colored bird made out of plaster paris, attached to the plastic base of the cone with super glue. I like it very much now and it is being used to train a Carolina Jasmine to vine around. It makes a nice appearance in my garden.

Pros
  • Robust tubular steel construction
Cons
  • The design may be considered too bold or overwhelming for some gardeners

This thing is HUGE!

This thing is HUGE! It was much larger than I expected. I knew the height would be about 6 feet, but its much taller than that and its very wide and the girth of the poles are more than a inch in diameter giving it an overall look of just large large large. It actually looks somewhat silly in my small garden, being so large, but it would look fantastic in a larger garden where most structures bought online look dwarfed. I feel like my 4 year old could use it as a jungle gym (but for obvious…

Pros
  • The obelisk is a great addition to garden decor, enhancing the overall aesthetics of the space
Cons
  • The structure may intimidate visitors or guests, making the garden less inviting

made in china? - my new review

flimsy, the part you're supposed to hammer 18" should be spiked to allow for ease of hammering into being put into ground. directions are lousy.

Pros
  • The top point is plastic! I liked everything else.
Cons
  • Product description says 96", but the package which arrived says 74".

Great size and value

Purchased this for my front yard in Rigby ID. It is very windy here in the spring. My husband anchored it with a stake in the ground. It has been great. No issues. Nice and sturdy. Works great for my Clematis.

Pros
  • Easy to assembly with instructions provided
Cons
  • The obelisk may not be able to handle extreme weather conditions such as heavy rain or snow

Sturdy Attractive Support for Climbing Vines

This tall sturdy garden obelisk provides a strong support for the Passion Flower Vine in my garden. It is also nicely designed for multiple uses and is an attractive shape. It was easy to assemble and has legs that can be buried deeply so the obelisk is well anchored in the soil.

Pros
  • Perfect
Cons
  • The price of the product is relatively high, making it unaffordable for some gardeners

Almost perfect. - my new review

Looks good in the garden and will hold together well. Pieces did not lock together so with gravity it completely fell apart while putting it in the ground. With some finagling we managed to get it back together and in the holes. The finial piece is plastic and the screw provided did not fit into it at all. had to re-drill to get it screwed in properly. Once together there is enough outward force on all the pieces to hold it together firmly. You really have to push everything into place to fit…

Pros
  • Gardening & Lawn Care
Cons
  • The black color may clash with certain garden color schemes

Good value in my review

I wanted to plant some climbing vines in my garden and needed a tall support. This obelisk is awesome. I rated it 4 because getting it into the ground was a bit tricky.but we managed.

Pros
  • The obelisk is suitable for any garden size and layout, making it versatile
Cons
  • The structure may be unstable and pose a potential hazard during strong winds or storms

Looks great! - my new review

Love it - but yes, assembly was a bear. That's my feedback! Read the reviews on how to assemble! I did and they really helped.

Pros
  • Slightly difficult assembly for just one person. Having a helper would have made building it easier.
Cons
  • It is made of metal, which can rust over time and detract from its appearance

Happy with this purchase

Happy with this purchase, however I needed to pound in rebar to fit inside the legs to make it sturdy. The instructions weren't the best. Makes a beautiful focal point for my perennial garden. I am growing star Jasmine inside the framework.

Pros
  • It adds depth and dimension to garden design, creating a layered and textured look
Cons
  • The design may not be versatile enough to be used in different garden arrangements

Assembly trick good for me

It’s a sturdy piece and 15” in diameter making it wider and longer than most Obelisk out there at this price point. Looks elegant when assembled but assembly and installation are not easy. Tip: 1. Don’t tighten all screws until the end 2. Use twist ties in areas where the screw appears to pop off and then tighten screws. I left the twist ties in place as it keeps the parts together along with the screws especially when winter comes along. 3. Diring installation use 24” rebar in ground and slide

Pros
  • 15.5" diameter x 96" High
Cons
  • The structure may create a potential hazard for pets or children if they climb on or interact with it

Make sure you won't return it

The product is good but beware: make sure you want it before ordering it. If you want to return it, you must pay the shipping cost and a 20% restocking fee. Also, if it is damaged during the shipping, you pay a 50% restocking fee. Not worth it to send it back so I'll keep the one I ordered and find a place for it in my garden. Won't order from this company again!

Pros
  • It provides support for vegetables and fruits, allowing them to grow upwards and optimize space
Cons
  • The black color may make the structure too conspicuous and detract from the natural beauty of the garden

WORST PURCHASE I HAVE MADE ON AMAZON

I bought two of these. Both were delivered late. One came before the other and it is so shoddy and weak that I cannot use it even for tomatoes. I tried to cancel the other but too late so I am returning. Unfortunately, I ripped the box opening the first one and cannot return. A terrible cheaply made product.

Pros
  • We've bought three of these and they are great for clematis.
Cons
  • The shape of the obelisk may not provide adequate support for lightweight plants

The finished obelisk is nice but I have reduced stars on my review for the following reasons:1. One of the screw holes on one of the rings was stripped2. The hollow metal pole provided for creating guide holes is nearly useless. In our heavy clay soil it took a great deal of time and effort to create the 4 18-inch-deep holes. I even had to borrow a maul from a friend because a hammer was inadequate. In the process of pounding the 4th hole the hollow metal pole broke off in the ground and we had

Pros
  • Very happy with this item!
Cons
  • The obelisk may create shadows and block sunlight from reaching other parts of the garden
