Ideal for simple low voltage cables. I use this for phone and other non-computer cables, but if you're using a CAT cable, do yourself a favor and get a stapler that uses plastic-tipped staples. You'll be much happier if someone accidentally tugs on the cable and it doesn't pinch or cut through your ethernet!
I've had enough of Arrow T Series staplers stalling all other staplers, feeding multiple staples at once or otherwise not working and I decided to try GB after 30 years of problems with many rifle guns. So far I'm not disappointed at all. I already have an almost full box of staples and they never got stuck or messed up. Given the way the staples are made, loaded and fed, they're not likely to jam or misfeed like the Arrow.
I bought this stapler to staple low voltage wiring under a railway track and it is perfect for the job. The staples have a large head and two side folds, like a collar, which largely prevent deep penetration into the wood and thus avoid crushing the wire to be stapled. The result is a good grip and even stitching, plus this design allows the wire to be pulled through the shackle during operation.
