Overall I would say this is a good product. It does its job well and is easy to clean. My only complaint is the build quality. The pin holding the press in place is already loose which makes me doubt this product will last. I've only used it about 10 times, which worries me. As it was cheap it's easy to say you get what you pay for. If you eat a lot of chopped garlic, I would suggest a better quality.

Bought to replace an identically designed IKEA Koncis Garlic Press. On this version, the tolerances are not as tight as there is some variation in the articulation. Great option, will definitely buy again. The removable basket allows for quick and easy cleaning. I recommend hand washing with dish soap, water and a brush and then drying or air drying on a dryer. So far the press has no rust or other defects and is used at least twice a week. The only functional issue was that due to the angle of the anvil (the part of the disc that pushes the press through) you can only make one or maybe two cloves of garlic at a time.
