Works well and I can put a Garmin charger in it.

USB ports make charging phones etc easier but the only downside might be that the length of the socket increases if you connect something extra to it e.g. B. a Garmin car charger. It works well, which is why I give it a 5 for that, but a 4 for the length. I don't think there's much you can change about this part of the design, but if you can live with it, it works fine!

Pros
  • Sturdy finish
Cons
  • Compatibility

Works perfectly. A bit expensive.

Works great for me. I can plug it into my accessory socket (cigarette lighter style) and then connect my Garmin to it and I have two charging ports with up to 2.4A output, making it suitable for Apple products or Android devices with fast charging. If your accessory socket is in the dash, be aware that this is just over twice as far as the Garmin connector protrudes from the dash. It's not a problem for me as my accessories are in the console.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Works very well with no failures. Charges iOS devices up to my iPad Air2 when used with my Garmin GPS. We also have the tom tom version, which we only prefer for the USB port configuration. In the tom tom version, the USB ports are moved to the side, which makes the car cleaner. Both work great with my Garmin GPS; just depends on which configuration you prefer.

Pros
  • a beautiful thing
Cons
  • I don't remember, but there was something

Very handy for a car full of gadgets!

Great design that allows you to connect any device and has 2 USB ports to connect other devices that you need to charge. The USB ports on the side help keep extra cables out of the way that get in the way of a tall shift or cup holders in my car. My only wish is that it comes with a dust and pinky proof cap or plug when the GPS is not plugged in and the USB ports are still in use. I am planning to buy a second one for another car. Performs simultaneous charging of GPS, Nexus 6 and Nexus 9…

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • I will add later

Expensive but works better than others. does what we need.

I have tried several other multi chargers to start GPS and charge my phone. This is the only one that worked. I find the charger too expensive, but it works. A bonus for my family is the third part of the charger that you can connect another power cord to. We use this to run our Garmin Nuvi 2597 lmt, charge the phone and use this internal jack to run the R2D2 USB which my son loves. Being able to do all three at the same time is amazing. So even though it's expensive, it works and works well…

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than others
