Disappointing Transducer for Marine Electronics

This transducer failed to meet my expectations when it came to tracking fish. While the clarity of the image was decent, it often lost signal and provided inaccurate readings. The only positive is that it was easy to install. However, the price does not justify the poor performance.

Pros
  • Provides accurate and detailed information on fish location and depth
Cons
  • Requires professional installation for optimal performance

Excellent sensor in automotive and automotive electronics

I have 2 devices on the boat: 546s with P66 sensor and Garmin 547xs with this sensor. Doesn't matter. The GT23-TM shows much more detail, sharper and sharper. I'm still figuring out how to use each mode, but am very happy with how it works >

Not best suited for fish finders and fish finders

Although this was the correct part number for my 942XS I need an 8 pin transducer, it was a 4 pin transducer, the Garmins website gave me this part number so I'm not sure if it's wrong or I need an adapter that wasn't included. I'm coming back and using my regular sensor I bought last year as it fits.

Pros
  • fish finders and fish finders
Cons
