Works well in GPS, finders and accessories

Works well I don't think it has voice recognition. Sometimes gives strange routes and doesn't know what Michigan Left is. Wants me to make a right turn and a U-turn instead of a left turn in Michigan. Used in conjunction with my cell phone to reduce data costs on long trips. Excellent display and output images are very useful.

Pros
  • Useful alerts for drivers
Cons
  • I'll add later

This is a refurbished unit but it looks new.

This Garmin Drive 52 replaces the Garmin 1350 Nuvi I had for about 5 years. This model is a big improvement, very clear display and smarter than the old one, finds addresses, gas stations, etc. easily and intuitively. New interface and display with information customizable to your needs. Very good.

Pros
  • Components Included: Quick Start Guide
Cons
  • Negative Impression

Refurbished but an old device but with many flaws.

Unintuitive UI and possibly a bug in the Save command menu. I can't save anything with a "Database Error" error message. Called the Revain hotline but it's still pending. Maybe it's a software bug. Also, the touchscreen is slow and difficult to use, especially when you're in a hurry at the side of the road. Also large screen error and calibration required but no instructions.

Pros
  • Free lifetime map updates
Cons
  • Corrupted

I only buy refurbished GPS. They're like new for 1/3 the price.

When I ordered this device, I knew I was getting a practically new product. For me they are new. If they're proven to work for a few days, they'll likely last a decade or more -- or they'll last until new technology makes this device obsolete or boring. Although both of my cars have GPS systems built in, I use Garmin GPS extensively when I leave the house. This works for me because I use Garmin Basecamp software. It's easy and fun to plan your trip on my computer, plan restaurants and save maps

Pros
  • Simple on-screen menus and bright visual maps
Cons
  • Little things

A good buy despite some intuitive GUI issues.

When I opened the box there was a GPS, power cable (long enough), USB cable (which is too short) and manual. Since I'm one of those people who basically takes the manual and throws it out the window, I mounted it on a weighted mount, plugged it in, and it already had enough satellites to work with. I made the basic settings, determined the location and set off. Initially it only showed the name of the street I was on, but as I turned around street numbers started to appear. so you can see where

Pros
  • Easy to use 5 inch GPS navigator
Cons
  • Some bugs
