Review on ๐Ÿ—บ๏ธ Refurbished Garmin 010-N2036-06 Drive 52 Automotive GPS with US/Canada Maps by Alex Gilbert

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I only buy refurbished GPS. They're like new for 1/3 the price.

When I ordered this device, I knew I was getting a practically new product. For me they are new. If they're proven to work for a few days, they'll likely last a decade or more -- or they'll last until new technology makes this device obsolete or boring. Although both of my cars have GPS systems built in, I use Garmin GPS extensively when I leave the house. This works for me because I use Garmin Basecamp software. It's easy and fun to plan your trip on my computer, plan restaurants and save maps to keep track. I have an old refurbished Garmin Nuvi 55. This model is 8-9 years old (?). It still works well but I bought this unit because it was affordable. I wanted to spice up my driving experience with new technologies. I love my new Garmin Drive 52. I will enjoy my new GPS for the next 10 years. hp In my GPS, I never use my real home address as "My Home" in case someone steals my GPS. Then they know I'm not at home, but they have my home address. For home I use the address of the nearest fire station.

Pros
  • Simple on-screen menus and bright visual maps
Cons
  • Little things
