The silicone case is light, soft, but generally loose. I was hoping for a slimmer or tighter fit. I have to constantly adjust the case when I turn on the Garmin or start a ride because it's too loose. It gives my Garmin a different look but overall I wouldn't recommend it.

Looks nice but the ledge running along the front edge is too narrow and doesn't hold the lid to the body of the unit. At high speed, any touch of the control buttons or even a sliding touch can cause the device to detach and hang on the computer mount. The Edge 500's similar lids worked great due to the difference in the sides and front edge of the lid it was held to. Great ideas, bad design for the real world.

Does what it should. This is a softer rubber than what my fiancé bought for her. I gave it a star because sometimes because it's so soft it rolls off the front of the harmine a bit and I have to reattach it. I wasn't too concerned about protecting the Garmin. I basically bought it to stand out better when it falls down in the woods. Then it will be easier to find it.
