Garmin Motorcycle Power Cable 550 010 10861 00 Review

Replacement needed as my original cable had to be cut from the previous bike. I bought two to make it easier to switch GPS between two bikes. They arrived quickly and just what I needed.

This cable is made in China and was defective with one of the rubber filled pin holes due to incomplete or defective production and distribution . Absolutely useless.

I bought this Zumo for my husband's bikes and he ABSOLUTELY loves it. We bought a Garmin from BMW a few years ago and I was afraid he wouldn't like the new one. They know how to get used to screens and menus and then learn new things again. But he is so happy with all the Zumo features. We also bought a ChatterBox BlueTooth connection and he used it on a recent trip with Zumo. He was really impressed with how Zumo interacted with Blue Tooth. money well spent.

This cable is required to mount the Zumo. 4-pin connector with 2 rubber tabs that screw into the bracket to keep it from dangling. Garmin has done its homework on motorcycle vibration. The price seems a little high until you realize that this is the one connection you never have to worry about and won't give you grief miles from nowhere.
