📱 Optimized Protective Cover for Garmin Echo 200, 500c, and 550c Models Review

Bought for my husband Garmin Echo 551dv Worldwide with sensor. I didn't know he came with one. Now we have two of them, but externally they are exactly the same.

The Garmin protective case looks solid, is well made and fits perfectly. I would recommend using a small strap or thick elastic to fully secure it before hitting the road. It is said to protect the Echo 200's screen well.

I installed this on my 550c and found it didn't snap into place as securely as it did on my 73sv. I thought there were no problems. Not correct. It blew away on the way so now I have to order another one and hope it gets better.

Nicely done. Fits good. I mainly use it as a storage shelter as my fish finder moves between the boat and kayak. Several people have stated that leaving it on while being towed at highway speeds will blow it away. This has nothing to do with installing the cover as it stays well on the sonar at boat speed.

Received it back in April this year and it fits perfectly and is snug. just not tight enough. The only thing there is. and it really doesn't matter, I lost one while towing a boat. he broke up and i never saw him again. I suggest either not using a suitcase when traveling or wrapping it with a rubber band or two so it doesn't come loose somewhere along the way. because it will. and did.
