Torn gps strap, finder and accessories

Bought this set on March 23, 2011. Today, December 10, 2011, the ligament broke. Since the strap is integrated into the watch, I don't know if it can be replaced. I'm a data junkie - I like to see what happened by the numbers, so I love the product. I live in a wooded area and the GPS often gets lost here, so I chose the FR60 over the GPS-enabled devices. I'm just really disappointed that the band broke up in less than a year.

Almost ready for GPS navigators

The monitor has excellent features - pretty much everything I could want in scrollable pages. The keys are close together and difficult to use with adult fingers. The lower left button sometimes doesn't work - you have to press it several times. The feature that allows you to upload data to the software to evaluate your workout is great, but it is difficult to initiate as only the user manual plan is sent to you. You will need to download the software online, but to do this on your computer you

Precise but imperfect design

I wore the watch for a month and a half and enjoyed using it to track my average pace and heart rate while running or cycling. Also use it in general mode when doing other things. Very easy to use, happy to download the ANT agent. However, after a month and a half, the watch strap broke where it touched the dial (see customer picture). I don't know if this is a design flaw or if it's because the hard strap doesn't fit a medium sized wrist. In any case, the support team got back to me within 6…

Really disappointed - nothing but connectivity issues

Bought to replace a Polar Cardio watch and thought the connectivity of a Garmin would be great. Extremely disappointed with the user interface, upload/download reliability and software. Server errors occur inconsistently, partial downloads (even if the watch is left on the computer for several hours), and several times data is completely lost and prompted to re-enter basic data (weight, age, etc.). I would avoid this device. Note that the problem occurs on a brand new Windows 7 computer that…

better than timex: gps, finder and accessories

I bought timex earlier because I was preparing for a run but it only had a heart rate monitor. I wanted to track my distance accurately. I wanted to buy an Ironman Timex GPS watch but found it too big for my wrist. My husband bought it instead and I bought the fr60 with a pedometer. Well fr60 is great. I can train indoors and outdoors. On the other hand my husband didn't have a GPS and since we live in the city he can't get one. In general, timex is only good for a heartbeat monitor. Most timex

I love this product!

I like the Garmin FR60. The chest strap is very comfortable. Garmin Connect's online feature is really great and easy to use. I like all reports available. Garmin is very helpful with questions and gives quick feedback. Now I also have a pedometer which I love when running. I'm sure there are many features I haven't used yet. It's easy to use and I love the fact that it works right out of the box - no calibration required. I played around with it a bit. There is no mileage on an elliptical…

Confusing. - Running GPS Units

I'm not a stupid person. I can understand most things. However, I can not understand this stupid clock. There is NO instruction manual included. You have to watch YouTube videos and they are not very helpful. I don't understand why the heart rate monitor doesn't show my heart rate. WTF? I bought it used, 1) I thought Garmin was a good brand of product, 2) positive reviews, and 3) I didn't want to pay the hundreds of dollars a body bug costs. Now I wish I saved because I guess I can't return…

Everything I needed!

I was looking for a heart rate monitor that looks good, isn't too big on my arm, counts calories burned and can calculate distance and pace without being a GPS and costing a lot of money. The Garmin FR60 does just that as it is paired with a pedometer. It's a little bigger than I thought it would be, but it's not too big for my hand. I have very small wrists and they fit perfectly. I bought purple instead of black to give it some color although I wish purple had come with the pedometer as I had
