Great for curls! - Shampoos

Garnier Fruitus Curl is the only shampoo my son uses for his hair after trying other curly hair shampoos. He loves the smell. Moisturizes, the hair is clean after use. It keeps his curls in place after the shower and allows him to style his curls as they are still fully in place thanks to the moisturizing effect. He uses the same brand of conditioner as his tresses. Real quality at a low price. Definitely recommend if you have curly hair!

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Great product at a great price

I have fine wavy/curly/frizzy hair that is oily on the scalp but dry on the ends. I've read that sulfate-free shampoo works well for hair like mine, but I didn't want to pay crazy money for something good. I have tried many products in the past and nothing usually works for my hair. This material does not contain parabens and sulfates and at the same time foams well. It seems to help tame frizz and make my hair softer and healthier for $3!?! I'm a fan.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Extendable

New packaging best in shampoo & conditioner

Have been using for many years and have recently been unable to purchase in stores. I thought it was discontinued. The company switched from yellow bottles to lemon green. I like it because I'm chemically sensitive and the smell isn't that bad. It works great for my curly hair and acts like a curl activation gel.

Pros
  • Delicious feeling
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

I would highly recommend this line

If you have curly hair I would highly recommend this line. Even after the first shampoo and conditioner, when I got out of the shower, my curls became more defined. The durability of the conditioner is excellent. I will always use this line when I want to wear natural hair. It really keeps my hair from getting frizzy and makes my locks look so hydrated and defined.

Pros
  • Well built
Cons
  • Not sure

No irritation :) Best suited in shampoos

Over the decades I have developed allergies to various things and SLS (sodium lauryl sulphate) is one of them which leaves scalp, neck and back ulcers. causes cold sores from the commercial toothpaste it contains. Have/used some of the poop with Burt's Bee Baby Bee Shampoo/Baby Soap which doesn't irritate me but dries my hair like hell. So I thought I'd give this a try - cheers, yahoo and such, I've used it not only on my hair but as a body wash with no problems or irritation and it cleanses…

Burns Scalp, Pretty Curls tho

God wow. I've never been so divided about a product. This curly hair shampoo-conditioner-dry cream system makes hair look REALLY great. BUT, and this is a big BUT: using this shampoo more than once a week has BURNED my scalp! I have fine wavy hair and it gives me headaches. Even on the 2nd day my fine hair is impossible because the waxy curls turn into weighted waxy straight hair. I know exactly where to go for a curly hair system now, but it used to bring pain and overnight results. I've read…

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • I don't really like it everything is fine

It is not sulfate free!

I bought this shampoo claiming it was a sulfate free shampoo. I've used it a few times and found that my hair would feel bald so today I decided to check the ingredients to see why that is and lo and behold the second line has a list of "Sodium Laureth Sulfate". I'm beside myself with anger.

Pros
  • Same as everything before
Cons
  • Only available in white
