This product was better for covering gray hair than Olia. However, I'm still surprised that there are places that haven't turned gray. Also, after about 3 washes, I noticed that some gray hair started to appear again. It covered up to 85% of my gray hair. I do not know what to do. You need to find a color product that covers a little better. The hair remained beautifully soft and in good condition.

I've had trouble getting hair dye to stay in my hair for years. Truly white roots will not take on any color at all. Literally a day later the color starts to fall out completely and after a week it becomes unrecognizable like the color on the box. This product has been on my hair for over three weeks now and I still have a good amount of color and no white roots. I can probably go another week or two without repainting. Four weeks might not sound like a lot to some people who are used to dying

I'm so lazy. I read a lot of positive reviews and immediately ordered Glazed Walnut (500). Even with the addition of blue and/or purple toner to the colorant/developer, my hair takes on a brassy hue. I got used to it and it doesn't bother me anymore - unfortunately it's not the highlights. The product actually pulled some of the darker pigment out of my regrown hair, so I now have about 3/4 inch light orange sprouts and the rest is dark brown with orange highlights. So this is just a warning…

Very easy to use. Love's oil based formula makes hair look so amazing. The main hair color is almost exclusively grey/white - this color was slightly intense, but after 2 hair washes a slight green tinge appeared. On the hairstylist's advice, I changed the color to "4" for a light golden hue. Previously #63 was perfect but can't find it anymore and a month before I had copper tones for 3 weeks.

I am so sorry I switched to this product after years of using another brand for no reason! The chemical smell was too strong from the start. I had to stop immediately and reverse. If you are sensitive to fragrances, don't risk it. I've been using their shampoo and conditioner for years and have never had a problem. Bought a set of 3. Time to give away the other two!

I used to use 400 which suits my dark hair perfectly but I wanted to lighten the shade. I saw some bad reviews about the 500 and gave it a try anyway. It dyed my hair a shade lighter where it wasn't gray and didn't cover the gray AT ALL! What a big disappointment. The bad reviews were true. This is very bad. Now I have an extra box because I can't return it. Garnier needs to fix the BC 400 formula that always came out so beautiful and covered all my gray hair without ever fading.

I have used this product many times and have had no problems with it. Application process and hair texture/type may affect results. Sometimes the hair doesn't hold the color well and sometimes it does, so coloring problems are usually not the product's fault. A tip: try it on hair that hasn't been washed recently but isn't very greasy either. Better hair that isn't super clean or super messy. Slightly damaged hair holds color better than undamaged hair. Used to go to the salon to color my hair until my barber retired. She still supplies me with salon quality products for coloring at home, but I wanted to change my color and came across Cinnamon Whiskey. First time using a store product. OMG love this color and my hair is so soft. Not sure about longevity but my hair is getting harder and harder to hold the color. I immediately ordered 3 more boxes. I've always been redheaded and this is my favorite color!
