🔧 Gates 350650 Power Steering Kit - Complete Repair Solution Review

Fixed a power steering gear leak on my 2005 Chevy Tahoe Z71. I also flushed out the old fluid and bled the power steering properly.

Check your truck before ordering. Some trucks seem to have a snap ring o-ring while others have a different type. Thanks to GM for using whatever they had on hand.

Attention! The exploded view in the instructions was wrong for my '99 piston and showed the wrong order of components on the Pitmam shaft. When dismantling, pay attention to the order and orientation of the components.

Mounted on a 2000 Chevy Astro RWD, the seals fit the form and function like factory and keep my bipod stock from leaking. Please note: Use a PVC plastic sleeve when installing to avoid damaging the seal.

Instructions are wrong. I tested it in my driveway and the seals were leaking very badly. Also, the steering wheel is stuck to the right. . Luckily I didn't drive.
