Centers the holes on pipes, dowels & outside corners. Flat side allow 90Β° drilling into flat surfaces-just clamp and drill. Automatically squares up the drill with the surface. Alignment marks on both sides, to line up on center. Bottom surface is precision ground to ensure stability & accurate perpendicular alignment on flat surfaces. Dad loves it! best in tools and equipment

I bought this for my dad - he likes it! Since he got home he's been sketching out all the projects he wants to work on this summer and using them!

Pros
  • Centers holes on pipes, dowels and outside corners. The flat side allows you to drill flat surfaces at 90Β° - just clamp and drill.

Holds Drills and Taps Vertically

Properly centered over the hole and secured to the workpiece, it holds the drill or tap perpendicular to the workpiece, at least low enough for you to finish the hole by hand without bending over.

Solves drilling problems

This works really well and helps me to drill straight and not crooked. It is much quicker to install and clamp while drilling into wood. Instead of looking at the drills, hold them straight. I'm glad I bought these. Well made tools

This helps a lot when drilling round shapes or up.

Smaller manual I bought locally. This works well when drilling round shapes or corners of square materials. I've used it to drill centered holes in wood dowels, which can be tricky even with a drill press. When using on flat surfaces I found it difficult to line up the hole with my markings. As mentioned in other reviews, a clamp or two is needed to get the most out of the drill guides.

  • The underside is precision ground for stability and perfect squareness on flat surfaces. Round marks for matching bearing holes on one side.
