I need to drill 5/16" holes for the mandolin tuning pegs. It was difficult to drill straight holes. This drill guide has a 5/16" hole perfect for my needs. I personally find it very difficult to drill straight holes. This guide has certainly solved that problem. Holes are drilled to perfect size and well marked. The guide is exactly 2.5 cm thick, which makes it easy to calculate the depth. I also really like this pattern because it's one of the few that has 1/4, 1/2, and 5/8 on the same pattern.
