Gold Standard Collection Container

These cans work perfectly. Easy to refuel. It's easy to cut off the fuel supply. And you simply pour the spent fuel back into the tanks without fear of returning solids or water.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Functionality

Best strainer on the market - and fast shipping

If you want a fuel tester with a strainer this is better than thin ones that take very little fuel. I bought one of these and kept it in my flight bag, although most planes I fly (including my own Mooney 201) have a tester and filter. Simple, easy to customize and shipped quickly from the supplier!

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Trade in available

Item shipped quickly and received in good condition. Working well

I purchased from Aviation Specialties. Item shipped quickly and received in good condition. This works fine; However, there was a problem. There are two versions of this product, one with a small "filled rim" and one without a rim (completely round). The picture shows a glass with a filler neck; However, the product I received has no lip. This is very annoying as there is much more chance of fuel spilling on the wing.

  • Best
Cons

nothing fancy, don't leave in the sun

I leave mine on the plane. It seems that the heat on the plane (the lantern is covered) is too hot for him. Transparent plastic melted and deformed. Now he doesn't get up. It doesn't matter much. I just open the gas caps before draining the fuel and then pour the fuel back into the tank. (I used to drain the fuel, put a glass on the fender or hood, and then open the gas cap. But since the plastic has warped, there's nowhere to put it.) It didn't start leaking or anything, so i still use it. But

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Burn-in

Great general aviation fuel tester!

This fuel tester is phenomenal for everyone in the general aviation community! The processing quality is excellent compared to many other testers. It's a bit big, but it will survive many falls. There is no risk of a small piece falling into the fuel tank. There are no environmentally hazardous small parts. The fuel view is crystal clear, like blue skies. With the addition of a filter, it keeps debris out of the tank. It fits in many cup holders on board an airplane or in any luggage…

Pros
  • Good Cause
Cons
  • Band

So good I got two, one maybe for my own chopper one day :)

have to say really good product. Use it to test fuel, shit or dirt in the can and is blocked by a mesh screen from entering the tank during back pressure. Simply slip the flexible fuel tank drain hose into the round neck and squeeze the drain valve and it goes straight into the can in front of the screen section. You can clearly see what exactly was in your tank. It's big enough to get a really good sample and see the water very clearly, some of the smaller screwdrivers you couldn't even milk a

Pros
  • High score for support and durability from the testers
Cons
  • Hard to say
