Perfect for all needs. the copper wires are packed very tightly. The original pigtail that came with my welder was the "same" gauge but weighed less than this.

This wire is listed as 4 gauge wire but my 6 gauge spade terminals work better on an exposed copper cleaner than 4 gauge spade terminals. If I had noticed before all the lengths were cut I would have sent it back. However, it handles 70 full amps of DC without getting hot and only requires a 50 amp cord for a given application.

The boat needed a wire change last winter. It arrived as expected. It's very flexible and easy to use (with the right tools). I was able to buy the length I needed and I only have a few left. The quality seems good after a season of use, so if I need to do more in the future I'll check it out again.

I bought this wire for car stereos not welding and it works great. Companies that sell OFC and CCA cables for car audio charge a lot more for them. This wire is just as good if not better than these other wires. It has many tiny strands of solid copper wire inside, which is what you need for DC power. This is a good product and excellent value for money, I will definitely be buying more.
