I liked the flexibility of this pure copper cable. I'm not sure if the rubber case can withstand the weather. The cable is not in the sun, but part of it goes outside and goes to the battery boxes. The time will show.

I love this cable. This is #2AWG welding wire, very flexible and true to size. Used to connect a 180A alternator to my SUV. Selterm #2 ring terminals and a hydraulic crimping tool were used for attachment. The insulation has a sort of suede feel so it can attract and hold oil and dirt, but other than that it's perfect.

These wires are amazing. Super flexible and surprisingly light for what it is. I've looked into heavier 4 gauge wire, but this thing does the job just fine. I use this to connect my 12k winch by running wires to the control box so I can mount the box in the engine bay. It is flexible enough to round corners between winch mount, radiator mount and other areas without effort. I needed a heavier ha. replacement cable for 6ga in my RV for converter/charger circuit. The existing 6ga cable caused a voltage drop of 0.6V from the charger to the battery (LiFePO4) and if you know anything about charging batteries, the voltage drop (due to the too small cable) also causes a longer heat build-up to charge the battery .
