Good cycling shoes for the money

Took them for a test ride. The tongue seems to fold easily when putting on the shoe and always needs to be adjusted. Be careful, the soles are quite slippery. The rest is comfortable and seems well made. There are no problems with the buckles, but after a while I will update the review if there are any problems. Good value for money.

Perfect for cycling

Wear 9 wide plus bunions on your right leg. 9 worked for me. Having a wide flat foot I'm used to some discomfort and had some numbness on a 30 mile ride today but I won't be wearing it as tight tomorrow. For the money I am very happy with this product. I had to watch YouTube to see how the clasp works. Press the top of the clasp and pull the strap out. Pull up on the bottom of the clasp to tighten.

  • Confident
Cons
  • Tradable

Great shoes! the best among men

I tried six local shops near me (including REI - what a joke!) and between six they only had four pairs of cycling shoes in my size and all cost over $120, and none of them were very practical. I ordered these expecting them to be worse than the ones I tried on but they fit great (women usually wear 10s and order 42s and use a bow insert) and they fit great. Only used them for a week but they fit great, fast delivery and very comfortable.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Price that beats the piggy bank

Too tight, no return/exchange possible without additional shipping costs

Be careful when ordering from this seller. I ordered these cycling shoes and they didn't fit. They were too tight even after I ordered a size up. This seller wouldn't just trade the size. I had to return the order including additional shipping costs. I will not order a different size and risk additional costs if they still don't fit. Instead, I opted for the new cycling shoes from Nike. Much better and much more convenient.

Pros
  • High score for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Almost everything ok

Great bike shoes!

I was a bit skeptical based on some of the poor reviews but I have to say I would compare these shoes to the $120 shoes you find at bike shops! The ratchet is smooth and the shoe is well made. There's not a lot of padding inside, but that's typical of riding shoes: you want to put all your energy on the pedals, not compress the padding. If you want, you can also easily buy insoles if you're forced to want super comfort. I drive miles and have no problems. They have proven to be excellent value…

It's damn cool!

So it's been about 5 years since I bought a new pair of cycling shoes. I had previously bought the branded version for $99.00 and was willing to reinvest at this level as I was very pleased with this pair. However, this company didn't sell their shoes on Revain, so I had to do some research to find a comparable look. I can't tell you how happy I am with the Gavin Elite MTB. Look, feel, comfort! YOU UNDERSTOOD IT! I haven't filmed it yet (they just arrived today) but I'm looking forward to this…

  • An absolute legend

just ok There is a problem.

These shoes fit and look good, but there are a few obvious issues that need to be addressed. First, there is no bow support. Plan to add some if your feet aren't flat as pancakes. And second, the plastic sole makes just that - hard plastic - these things slippery, like snot when you walk on them. Intending to keep mine, I set my Dremel on the ground and took a few sips like you might (but not with a Dremel) do on a winter tire with grip. Seems to be a slight improvement. Well I don't like them,

Removable sole for shoes

I bought these for cycling so I can leave my road shoes with my bike. I've worn them for road riding and used them in cycling lessons. I don't have many rides due to Covid closing my gym. I estimate I have about 20 rides in it. The sole comes off. I have nothing against shoes at all, but I have problems with them. The top still looks brand new as I haven't ridden it much. I am very disappointed with this outsole issue as I wanted to take them on my upcoming 2 day bike ride. Other people have…

Good price but pretty bad design

What I really liked about these shoes is how similar they are to my old Shimano M8082 MTB shoes that they no longer make, with two velcro straps . and top strap. On the plus side, the shoe fits well and is comfortable to wear even after a long time of fiddling around. So he gets 2 instead of 0. And with the shortage of bikes and accessories caused by Covid-19, I was grateful to finally find something my size that costs under $300. Unfortunately, it has too many flaws. 1. The bolt mounting slot…
