I broke a wheel spacer just by tightening it. Please don't put it on your car! If I can break the bolt with just my hand, I imagine a small hit will do a lot more damage, costing you more money or your life! Leave such hardware products to the professionals. Pay more for the real thing!

Hub center seems to be the difference between vibration or not. The Trejos tire shop in Palestine, Texas was reluctant to install spacers due to previous unfortunate incidents, but used red caulk to hold the inner spacer nuts in place and torque the tire nuts.
